How to export Telegram messages.

No login form, browser extension, or desktop script. Use Telegram forwarding and receive a ZIP back in the same chat.

Select messages

Open a Telegram channel, group, or chat. Select the messages you want to save, including older posts from long histories.

Forward them to the bot

Send the selected messages to the export bot. It shows progress while the batch is being processed.

Download the ZIP

Open the temporary link and keep one archive with HTML, JSON, TXT, Markdown, CSV, PDF, DOCX, and a `media` folder.

Built for real Telegram archives.

The bot is designed for the everyday export jobs Telegram does not make simple: long channels, forwarded research material, private community content, and media-heavy conversations.

1

Export big message lists

Forward many messages and let the bot process them as a batch. Free users get automatic batch finalization after a short idle period.

2

Readable formats for people

Every ZIP includes HTML for browsing, PDF for sharing, DOCX for editing, and TXT or Markdown for simple notes.

3

Structured data for analysis

Use JSON for scripts and AI pipelines, or CSV when you want to inspect messages in spreadsheets and BI tools.

4

Media included where possible

The export can include photos, videos, documents, audio, voice messages, animations, video notes, and stickers.

5

Source and date context

Exports preserve message text, original dates, Telegram message IDs, and source descriptions for forwarded content.

6

Temporary download links

Download links are cleaned up after the configured retention period, currently described in the bot as 24 hours.

Popular reasons to use it.

Short guides for freelancers, businesses, researchers, community managers, creators, analysts, and anyone who needs Telegram data outside Telegram.

What is inside the ZIP?

Each export is made for humans, machines, and the common tools people already use.

  • index.html: a readable browser view of the exported messages.
  • PDF and DOCX: readable report-style files. Images can be embedded; voice, video, audio, and other media are listed as relative links.
  • TXT and Markdown: lightweight text files with message content and attachment links.
  • CSV: spreadsheet-friendly rows for review, filtering, tagging, and analysis.
  • JSON: structured message data for search, AI, and custom scripts.
  • media folder: downloaded supported attachments such as photos, videos, voice, documents, stickers, and audio.

Important limits

Telegram Bot API downloads have practical limits. Attachments over 20 MB may be skipped and listed in the export. The bot still exports the text and metadata it can process.

Temporary links are cleaned up after the retention window, so download your ZIP soon after it is generated.

FAQ

Can I export a huge Telegram channel?

Yes. Select and forward the messages you need. The bot is built around batch processing and progress updates for large forwarded sets.

Can I use the export for AI training?

Yes. The ZIP includes structured JSON plus CSV, Markdown, and TXT options, which are easier to parse than screenshots or copied chat text. Always make sure you have the right to use the content.

Which file format should I open first?

Use HTML for browsing, PDF for sharing a fixed report, DOCX for editing, CSV for spreadsheet review, Markdown or TXT for notes, and JSON for scripts or AI pipelines.

Does it export media?

It can save supported media types including photos, videos, documents, audio, voice messages, animations, video notes, and stickers. Images can appear in HTML, PDF, and DOCX; other media is linked back to files in the ZIP. Very large files may be skipped because of Telegram Bot API limits.
